Locking Mist Plus is UV protective and can be used to add shine to your natural hair, as well as to secure Conceal & Style products in place. You may use more because it is useful all over your hair.
Why has the Locking Mist formula changed?
Locking Mist held the fibres securely to hair all day, even in light rain. However Locking Mist Plus uses Nanogen’s patent pending Hydroguard™ technology, giving dramatically improved water resistance. Locking Mist Plus can be used to give the same light hold as the previous product, or can be used in larger amounts to hold the Nanofibres in place in all conditions, even under water.
If Locking Mist Plus is water resistant, can I use it with treatment products?
Yes. Locking Mist Plus will hold Nanofibres in place when sprayed on the hair, but a very small amount of the spray will reach the skin, and so will not interfere with any treatment product. If you are using Locking Mist Plus on your scalp then it needs to be washed off thoroughly before using a treatment product as it could prevent the treatment entering the skin.
How do I use Locking Mist Plus?
You can use Locking Mist Plus in exactly the same way as Locking Mist; several pumps over your Nanofibres will hold them in place all day. Alternatively you can use 8 pumps of Locking Mist Plus to ensure unparalleled water resistance.
